Hike notes:
Pine Ridge Trail to Pine Valley Camp

Round Trip: 11 miles, 2800 ft.gain

Attractions are large, pleasant meadowed valley with pine trees and surrounding rock formations. Very popular destination with much area to spread out and dispersed camp spots. Can combine with dayhike to Pine Falls (use trail can be tricky to follow) or to Pine Ridge for views.

Dispersed attractive campspots. Perennial water but in summer can require downstream search along Carmel River.

Dirt Tassajara Road can require high clearance vehicle, condition varies seasonally depending upon date of last scraping; small off-road parking space.
