Hike notes: 
Boronda Trail to Cold Spring Camp


Round Trip: 11 miles, 3200 ft.gain

Attractions are coastal views on ascent with inland views at Cold Spring Camp.  Good for those seeking a shorter hike from Route 1 with water at camp.  Can be combined with dayhike to Big Sur Trail and Rainbow Camp. 

Large expansive campspot with panoramic view of Ventana Double Cone and "La Ventana" ridge.  Perennial water from tank (can require some figuring out) or from headwaters of Logwood Creek near start of Big Sur Trail. 

72 hour parking along Route 1 at trailhead.
