Attractions are coastal views on ascent and at Timber Top Camp.  Good for those seeking shortest hike from Route 1, but no water at camp.  Can be combined with dayhike along North Coast Ridge Road or Big Sur Trail or Marble Peak. 

Campspots with view of ocean.  No water - can fill up from Lafler Canyon Creek on ascent. 

72 hour parking along Route 1 at trailhead.
